What do and did you think about the first Health2.0 unconference?

Must there be another unconference? When? Where? And what subjects? Give your notes!!!

Hi Martijn,

A big 'thank you' to yourself, Jen and Maarten for setting up this unconference. Even as a total outsider, I thoroughly enjoyed it (and met some nice people, too)!

This edition being somewhat high in listening and low in audience participation, it might be an idea to have a sequel where there's more room for discussion. To give it some focus, why not try and outline one or two 'proofs of concept'?

CU -

Excellent feedback, thank you for attending tonight and giving your valuable input here.

I believe we shall have some assistance with increasing participation at the next event - the innovation engine behind 31volts, who presented towards the end of this evening, have some plans about this and had similar ideas - stay tuned!

Speaking from the BarCamp experience, what is usually done (and what we did the week before at BarCamp Amsterdam IV) is to have all presentations chosen at the start of the event, with people just standing up and explaining what they want to talk about and gauging the reaction. This means that there is no 'in' or 'out' group of people and everyone is able to present. Some people still prepare, but it isn't necessary and having multiple tracks of talks (we also used my office) means that there is more than enough time and space for everyone to present.

There should definately be another health2.0 conference. There are so many more ideas to be shared and more importantly we must learn so much more of how consumers actually respond to the first health 2.0 initiatives. By sharing the lessons learned, we'll increase the chance of succes for the new initiatives.

This was an excellent start: great venue, great people and great energy (not to mention the excellent catering ;-). Thanx to Maarten, Martijn and Jen for organising.

For me it was the introduction to the subject. Met some great people with interesting ideas but didn't have the time to meet all of you (my dog was waiting at home). So, can't wait for the next one where I will probably present some of my own.

http://www.slideshare.net/guest7b666f/zorgbode-20-amsterdam/

http://www.fackeldeyfinds.com/tag/hotealthcare/

Again, thanks to all of you for the inspiration and confusion at the Unconference! The confusion will slowly fade away, I'm sure.

Hello Jen,

This time i try to give my comment in English.

Firtst i will thank you for the compliment you gave me.

I understand that it is difficult for you to understand Dutch in a few weeks. I will rember you as a driven person in relation to Health 2.0 and from now on i call it Zorg 2.0

When we all give podiumplace nr. 1 to to the patient then Zorg 2.0 will be a success.
I know for sure its a very difficult way because the most organisations have problems with the confidentional aspects.

First of all we have to create a straight line with all the performers on it :

Gouverment-Hospitals-Docters.patientorganisations. When they can balance together than it is possible that the patient gets the attention and welness they need..

I hope that www.zorgbode.nl can help to open closed doors and the patients are the winners overall.

I wish you a lot of succes and may be we see each other on another place on another day.
I will end in Dutch because i dont know how to translate it correct :

ZORGEN VOOR DE ZORG VAN VANDAAG IS EEN BETERE ZORG VOOR MORGEN

@ the organising Team: thank you for last saturday! It was really inspiring to see so many motivated people, after only three weeks of preparation... :-D Next time I 'll be there again!

Next time, for the quality of the content about health care I would suggest to attract more people with practical experience in health care as well. I think that the combi of motivated people: people with creative ideas about web2.0 and people with experience in the sector, could lead to something very powerful.

If you need more people to help organising, let me know. I would love to help you guys. -Marije.

Hey guys,

Nice to have met you all; I only knew Martijn a bit beforehand (and @erwblo by rep).
There *will* be a sequel, I'm sure of that. ;-)

Count me in as a presenter; it was -alas- clear that not all innovators find it logical for insurers (and pharmacists ) to attend. So I hope to be able to outline our objectives clearly, so that there can be a basic trust among all attenders. Maybe a pharmacist will do the same!

Lovely dinner, lovely company!

Thanks for all and until next time!

Marjie -

That is excellent feedback indeed, and thank you for coming this weekend!

We certainly must include more practical experience in healthcare - we can use many more providers in our audience (doctors, nurses, etc) and to present how to refocus efforts on the patient. Any assistance you could provide recruiting those from the hospital system would be extremely valuable.

"Hout" -

The pleasure was all ours. Consumer-centric care is a vital concern for all segments, including insurance and pharma, and of course the most important part is connecting all the "dots" - it was very wonderful (and brave?!) of you to attend and you restore our faith in the sector. :)

It'll be nice to have you speak!
